UKIAH - Mendocino Community Health Clinic, Inc. (MCHC) welcomes Jason Swain, LCSW, to its counseling staff. His clinical duties will include short-term interventions designed to assist patients in developing healthier behaviors and general counseling services.

Mr. Swain received his Masters in Social Welfare (MSW) from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2001. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, in 2001. He has previously worked within the Veterans Affairs Health Care System, both here in Ukiah and in Palo Alto, Ca. Mr. Swain has made Ukiah his home for the last year and a half. Along with his wife, Donelle, he has two young children. His cross-cultural experiences include teaching and humanitarian service projects in the Mid-East, and he has spent time in both Lebanon and Bahrain.
