UKIAH - Care for Her announces the beginning of a six-class childbirth preparation class beginning Thursday, March 10. Care for Her is a women’s health center operated by local, nonprofit Mendocino Community Health Clinic, Inc. (MCHC). During the six-class series, expectant parents will learn about their growing baby and prepare themselves for childbirth. Topics include nutrition during pregnancy, body changes throughout pregnancy, relaxation and preparing for childbirth, breastfeeding and infant safety. The classes are held on Thursday evenings; participation is limited and registration is required.
