New dentist joins staff at Little Lake Health Center

WILLITS – Little Lake Health Center (LLHC) welcomes dentist Dr. Navneet Mansukhani to its staff. Dr. Mansukhani received his degree in Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, San Francisco, Ca., in June of 2008. He achieved his M.A. in Public Health from the Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL; in 2006, and a Bachelors of Dental Surgery from the Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences, Bangalore, India; 2002.

Little Lake Health Center (LLHC), located at 45 Hazel Street, provides patient care in an integrated setting, with doctors, dentists and psychotherapists working together to provide a full spectrum of care to individuals and families. From its opening in 2002, dentistry has been a crucial service offered by Little Lake. Before it opening, Willits residents who were uninsured or underinsured could not obtain oral health treatment locally. LLHC is pleased to let the community know that it welcomes Medi-Cal and offers sliding-scale payments to those in need of dental care.

LLHC is one of three Federally Qualified Health Centers operated by Mendocino Community Health Clinic, Inc. (MCHC). MCHC is a locally governed nonprofit, whose Board of Directors is drawn from its patients and the community. Its mission is to provide access to excellent healthcare services for the most vulnerable people in our community. If you are interested in serving on MCHC’s Board of Directors, please contact Kathy MacDougall at 472-4511.
