Laurence Hartley, MD now offering gynecological services at Hillside Health Center

UKIAH– Mendocino Community Health Clinic (MCHC) welcomes Laurence W. Hartley, MD, OB/GYN, to its medical staff at Hillside Health Center, 333 Laws Avenuein Ukiah. Since 1979, Dr. Hartley has served women and families in private practice in Ukiah. In his new position at MCHC, he will provide gynecological services to his current patients, as well as other patients seeking care at the center. Those wishing to make an appointment with Dr. Hartley may call 468-1010.

About his new association, Dr. Hartley said, “I am excited about this change. As I close my private office, I am going to have a little more time for my hobbies. I am also enthusiastic about joining what I know to be a quality medical group. The clinic model, with its emphasis on collaboration, is one I whole-heartedly endorse. I am pleased to come into association with doctors and other providers who work at the clinic. With office hours on Monday and Wednesday, I can continue to care for my long-time patients, but will be expanding gynecological services to others in need of care.”

MCHC, the locally governed nonprofit that operates Hillside Health Center, offers comprehensive, community-based medical, dental and behavioral health services to those who lack access to care. Its Board of Directors is drawn from its patients and the community. MCHC’s mission is to provide access to excellent healthcare services for the most vulnerable people in our communities. If you are interested in supporting this important work by serving on MCHC’s Board of Directors, please contact Kathy MacDougall at 472-4511.
