MCHC Group Insurance Benefits

For a share of cost, regular full-time employees can participate in our group insurance program that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Because we recognize that personal problems can affect your attendance, job performance or behavior at work, we provides an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP offers confidential and professional counseling and, when appropriate, referrals to other services to deal with personal problems such as chemical dependency, marital or family conflict, emotional upsets, or financial problems.

Retirement

We understand the importance of planning for retirement. To help you prepare for a financially satisfying and secure retirement, we sponsor the Mendocino Community Health Clinic, Inc. 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan--a tax-deferred savings plan. You may also be eligible to receive discretionary contributions from MCHC.

Paid-Time-Off

We encourage all employees to take time off for rest, vacation or to recuperate from illness, and we provide a combined vacation/sick paid-time-off allocation to allow for this.

Holidays

Employees who work at least thirty (30) hours per week receive paid time off for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Day as well as one floating holiday.

Continuing Education

We recognize that increased knowledge is an asset to our employees and to the organization, so we assist regular, full-time employees in maintaining their professional licensure educational requirements. We also help regular, full-time employees finance their education in a qualified degree, professional licensing or certificate program.
