MCHC provides eligible employees the opportunity to participate in a Group Insurance Program, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more.
Regular Full-Time (RFT) employees are eligible to participate in all of the group insurance plans at a share of cost.
Because MCHC recognizes that personal problems can affect an employee's attendance, job performance or behavior at work, it provides EAP access. The EAP plan offers confidential and professional counseling and, when appropriate, referrals to other services to deal with personal problems, such as chemical dependency, marital or family conflict, emotional upsets, or financial problems.
MCHC understands the importance of planning for your retirement. To assist employees prepare for a financially satisfying and secure retirement, MCHC sponsors the Mendocino Community Health Clinic, Inc. 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan (Plan). The Plan features a tax deferred savings plan 401(k). You may also be eligible to receive discretionary contributions from MCHC.
MCHC requests all employees to take time off for rest, vaction or to recuperate from illness. To allow and encourage employees to be able to take these needed days off, a combined vacation/sick paid-time-off allocation is provided.
MCHC grants the following holidays as paid holidays to qualified employees: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day,Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Employees who work at least thirty (30) hours per week are eligible for holiday pay.
MCHC recognizes that increased knowledge is an asset to our employees and to the organization. For this reason, MCHC assists regular, full-time employees in maintaining their professional licensure educational requirements. MCHC also assists regular, full-time employees finance their education in a qualified degree, professional licensing or certificate program.
