Lakeside Health Center Becomes Lakeview Health Center

September 2015

On October 1, 2015, we are changing the name of Lakeside Health Center  to Lakeview Health Center. As we rebrand, our focus remains on improving access to health care for patients in Lake County.

“Our job is to make sure the people who need care receive it, and frankly, our name was getting in the way. With two other health organizations using the name Lakeside, people got confused about where to come,” said Health Center Director Kim Tangermann.

Soon-to-be Lakeview Health Center, located at 5335 Lakeshore Boulevard in Lakeport, is a federally qualified health center, and as such, provides medical, dental, and behavioral health care to local people of all ages, whether they have insurance or not. Lakeview also offers specialty care, including an HIV/AIDS clinic.

Learn more about their services at upcoming events: first, at the Kelseyville Pear Festival on September 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street in Kelseyville, and then at the 2015 Heroes of Health and Safety Fair on October 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake County Fairgrounds. Both events are free and offer health screenings and fun activities for the whole family.

Doctors, dentists, and therapists at newly renamed Lakeview Health Center are currently accepting new patients. To schedule an appointment, call (707) 263-7725. Lakeview is one of three MCHC Health Centers; the others are Little Lake Health Center in Willits and Hillside Health Center Ukiah. To learn more about MCHC Health Centers, visit us online at
