Little Lake Health Center Opens Urgent Care Clinic on Saturdays Starting May 10, 2014

April 2014

Next month, Little Lake Health Center in Willits will offer an Urgent Care Clinic on Saturdays from 10-4 pm for life’s little emergencies. Walk-ins are welcome and some same-day appointments are available. Starting May 10, patients will not have to wait until Monday to take care of health issues.

“We’re pleased to be able to provide care when people need it,” said health center manager Becky Driscoll. “If people have emergencies, they should go to the Emergency Room, but a lot of health care needs can be met without the cost and wait of an ER visit.”

Driscoll listed several conditions that are appropriate for an urgent care clinic, including sprains and strains, animal bites and insect stings, rashes, fevers, allergies, asthma and breathing problems, headaches and migraines, eye injuries and infections, urinary tract infections, sore throats, nausea and vomiting or abdominal pain, and more.

Little Lake Health Center is located at 45 Hazel Street in Willits. For more information, click here.
