Our HIV medical program offers patients an opportunity to receive outstanding HIV-specialty and primary care. An individualized treatment plan is developed with the patient and tailored to his or her lifestyle and needs.
MCHC is a model of excellence in the treatment, testing of HIV, HIV/AIDS care and related conditions. Our providers have been trained as HIV specialists and our HIV Case Managers are here to help you coordinate your health care needs, educate you about HIV, keep you on track with your labs, make sure you get your meds on time and be there for moral support.
MCHC has been offering HIV care for more than twenty years, funded by a federal Ryan White grant since 1995. In fact, some of our clinical staff helped start the program at MCHC. Patients can receive comprehensive HIV/AIDS care at all three MCHC health centers as well as at Mendocino Coast Clinic in Fort Bragg.
Access to care is never denied to anyone with HIV regardless of income or ability to pay. We are linked with other local and regional HIV services to help you manage your HIV disease the best way possible and ensure access to all necessary health care resources.
